Star Bakers, every one!

Our Re-Fresh young people's peer support group have been busy in the Slynedales kitchen making batches of member Ruby's delicious flapjack. Ruby's recipe has been the snack of choice at Re-Fresh sessions for a long time and it is so nice, it also features in our CancerCare recipe book, Extra Helpings!

The group have been making extra supplies for us to give out to clients in the run up to Christmas and is an example of the huge variety of activities they get up to - from arts and crafts to canoeing and cave exploration!

Great work everyone and, by all accounts, the consignment for our Morecambe centre did not last long at all!
