Remember someone special as we create a shining display of light in memory of treasured family and friends we have lost.

We invite you to dedicate a candle, bearing your loved one’s name and a personal message, to be added to a breathtaking display of light commemorating treasured family and friends we have lost.

Lights to Remember is a family-friendly event and supporters of all ages are welcome to dedicate a light. During the evening, you will have the opportunity to personally add your loved one’s light to the outdoor display, illuminating the gardens at CancerCare’s peaceful Slynedales centre in Lancaster. The event will feature live music as well as time and space for quiet reflection.

If you would like to dedicate a light but are unable to attend Lights to Remember in person, we will be able to add your dedication and place your light for you. You will also receive a special keepsake postcard in recognition of your dedication.

By sponsoring a light, you will also be supporting CancerCare’s work and providing vital help to people in our local community affected by cancer or bereavement.

Please know that Lights to Remember is for everyone who has experienced loss, not just those who have used CancerCare’s services.
