Remember someone special as we create shining displays of light in memory of lost loved ones.

We invite you to dedicate a candle, bearing your loved one’s name and a personal message, to be added to breathtaking displays of light commemorating treasured family & friends we have lost.

This year our Lights on the Lawn event will take place on:

Friday 19th April, from 6.45pm at Slynedales, Lancaster

Lights on the Lawn celebrations are family-friendly events, and supporters of all ages are invited to decorate and personalise the glass jar which will hold their loved one’s candle when placed on the lawn. This event will feature live music as well as time & space for quiet reflection.

If you would like to dedicate a light but are unable to attend our event in-person, we will be able to add your dedication and place your candle for you. You will also receive a special keepsake postcard in recognition of your dedication.

By sponsoring a candle, you will also be supporting CancerCare’s work and providing vital help to people in our local community affected by cancer or bereavement.

There will also be a team of qualified CancerCare therapists in attendance on the night, should you feel the need to talk to someone.

You will also receive a special keepsake postcard in return for your dedication.

We're really pleased to be working in partnership with Birchall Blackburn Law, Morecambe, who are sponsoring our Lights on the Lawn 2024 events.
