Join us, remember and pay tribute to a loved one in the peaceful surroundings of Capernwray, a beautiful lake nestling in the magnificent north Lancashire countryside.

We invite you to dedicate a candle which will bear your unique, personal message and be released onto the lake as the sun sets to create a spectacular, glittering display of remembrance on the crystal-clear water.

After the candles are released, accompanied the serene sounds of a brass band, there will be a period of quiet reflection culminating in a firework display which will light up the night sky.

By sponsoring a candle, you will be helping to provide vital support to people in our local community facing the impact of cancer or bereavement.

If you would like to dedicate a candle but cannot attend in person, we will be able to add your dedication and float your candle on your behalf. You will also receive a special keepsake postcard in return for your dedication.

Capernwray is easily accessible by car and is only a two-mile drive from Junction 35 of the M6. The centre has ample free parking/

Everyone is welcome to make a dedication. While we suggest a minimum donation of £15 to help us cover the costs of this special event, please give what you can so CancerCare can be there to help ALL local people coping with cancer or bereavement.

The lights are battery powered and will be reused at future events. Everything used on the night will be taken away at the end. Nothing will be left behind.
