It was a privilege to be on the shores of Windermere at the weekend to see the final length of the fabulous South Lakes Women Go Swimming's epic quest to swim all 14 Lakeland tarns and lakes.

They have clocked an incredible number of miles, which included swimming the lengths of Ullswater and Coniston and battling gales on Devoke Water!

They have raised more than £3k for CancerCare and it was a pleasure to see them celebrate their incredible achievement with a well-earned glass of fizz and slice of cake with friends and family.

Well done ladies, we have loved following your adventure over the summer and can't wait to see what you get up to next!
