Kat has been with us for three and a half years as a first-time fundraiser, and she fulfilled the role to a phenomenal standard. We will miss the passion, drive, and energy Kat has brought to CancerCare.

“Kat has been a huge asset to our fundraising team over the years she has been with us. Her energy and tenacity never fails to enthuse those around her and she will be sadly missed. Thank you for all of your hard work and for bringing so much joy and laughter into the workplace” said Emma Athersmith Fundraising and Marketing Officer.

“CancerCare is a special place to me, it’s somewhere I feel at home and has allowed me to be me whilst learning and progressing through my career. I’ve loved every minute working here, especially alongside the amazing fundraising team. I’m really going to miss CancerCare and being involved in this fantastic charity which will always have a special place in my heart,” said Kat.

Over the past three and a half years, Kat has put tireless effort into ensuring our events run as smoothly as possible and bring in the funds we need to keep CancerCare running.

“Leading on the events schedule for CancerCare has been a dream job for me and I’ll always be grateful for the time I’ve had here and the opportunities I’ve been given to become a fundraiser,” said Kat.

Good luck in your new venture Kat, this isn’t goodbye, it’s see you soon.
