The 50 miles in February is a walking challenge in aid of CancerCare. Anyone can sign up to the challenge and the aim is to walk 50 miles throughout the month of February.
If you’d like to get involved:
You can set up a Facebook fundraiser so they can ask their friends and family to sponsor their challenge.
If you do not wish to use Facebook, you can set up a JustGiving fundraising page here.
Everyone taking part is welcome to join our Facebook Group to share photos and updates of their walks with others to completing the challenge.
If you don’t want to fundraise, we would appreciate you sharing this challenge with others who might be interested in taking part to help support our work as we make sure that no-one in our community ever has to face cancer or bereavement alone in 2023.
The great thing about this walking challenge is that you take as long as you need and complete it however you feel best suits you, whether that’s running, swimming, or hopping to complete the challenge. You can start early, or finish a little later, it doesn’t matter. You can do it with friends, family or by yourself. If you need to keep going longer than the month, that’s okay; just complete it at a pace that suits you. And, if you’re feeling super active and want to walk further than 50 miles, that’s up to you too!
Thank you for taking part in the CancerCare 50 Miles in February walking challenge.
