Saying thank you to families

We would like the opportunity to thank families for supporting CancerCare at this time. If you provide us with the name of the next of kin and their relationship, we will be able to send them a written thank you letter for the donations we have received in their loved one’s name.

Paying In Donations

If you would like to send us the donations collected at a funeral or memorial service, they can be dropped off or addressed to your nearest CancerCare centre (addresses below). Please also provide us, where possible, with any information that has been collected for Gift Aid purposes. To keep donations safe, we ask that you please do not send cash in the post.

Supporting families beyond funeral collections

Families may wish to do more to remember their loved one beyond the funeral collection.

We are partnered with MuchLoved, a special website which provides an opportunity for families to create a personalised Everlasting Tribute Page (link to Everlasting Tribute Pages webpage) for their loved one. We would be honoured to help them remember their loved one in whatever way feels right for them.

Our charity may also be able to offer bereavement support, through counselling, complementary therapies, or just a cup of tea and a bit of moral support.
