Cracking shot of our ReFresh Young People's Peer Support Group getting all "Swallows & Amazons" while on a half-term residential up at Flynne's Barn near Keswick last week!
Our school holiday activity programme is a hugely important part of the "fun therapy" inherent in our work with young people coping with cancer or bereavement in their family or network of friends. It helps to take them out of themselves and forge friendships and learn new skills in a supportive, and sometimes new, environment.
We are currently recruiting a new youth worker to help run our ReFresh groups and activities at our Kendal and Barrow centres.
If you, or anyone you know, would fancy making a real difference to the lives of youngsters in south Cumbria (like our very own captain Chris Wadeson ably manning the stern in the pic!) then click here for details about the vacancy.
