Kellie Clark is one of CancerCare’s greatest supporters and she loves a challenge!
She and her family took part in our 2021 Lancaster Santa Dash and last year Kellie did the famous Keswick to Barrow walk for us.
This year she will once again be pulling on her running shoes to join Team CancerCare for the K2B which she plans to run (with a few strategic stops in between)!
Kellie said: "This will be my 2nd time doing K2B, I did it last year and it was one of my highlights of 2022 and I am so excited to be taking part again. My favourite part is the checkpoints with the friendliest volunteers handing out all kinds of sweet treats to keep you going.
I also did the Santa Dash with my husband and 4 children and I found CancerCare to be a lovely local charity to fundraise for with the loveliest, most supportive fundraising officers. It is a nice feeling to fundraise for a small, local charity and cancercare has helped so many people I know."
"My advice to anyone thinking of taking part is to just enjoy every step of the way and find joy in the journey, it’s not just the greatest feeling of pride and achievement when you cross the finish line but the whole day from the minute you get on the happy bus when everyone else is still snuggled in bed to sitting on the grass at the end with a well earned ice cold beer in hand and everything in between."
Thanks to everyone, like Kellie, who has signed up so far and there’s still time to register on the K2B website and email our fundraising team with your ID number and we’ll support you every step of the way! https://keswick2barrow.co.uk/u...
