Lynda Young wanted to give something back to CancerCare after using our services in the past. She thought what a better way to celebrate with a combined 200th birthday party in Mamma Mia theme whilst raising money for CancerCare.

Lynda organised the birthday bash which combines the ages of herself, her husband and her mum to celebrate the birthdays missed due to COVID. The Mama Mia themed party for her 50th had been delayed for two years because of the pandemic but they certainly made up for it, raising £273 from donations to CancerCare instead of birthday presents.

The party which took place at The Globe Arena in Morecambe saw plenty of 70’s grooving, especially when the family secretly organised a “flash mob” that filled the dance floor with entertainment!
