Looking for something different to do this summer? How about taking part in our Summer Steps challenge!

Choose your challenge and commit to walking 4,000, 8,000 or 10,000 steps a day this August!

Between 1st and 31st August, we’re challenging you to get up and moving this summer. Whatever your fitness level, everyone is welcome to get involved and take part.

Why not embrace this beautiful time of year and head out to explore nature whilst you rack up your steps! However you meet your target, we can’t wait to see the steps you’ll take for the people and families in our community living with cancer and loss.

Join our Facebook Group today and start fundraising!

We recommend setting your fundraising target at £100 but feel free to raise whatever you can.

Thank You.

If you have any questions about this challenge or want to find out about other ways you could get involved to support CancerCare, please email Anna, at anna.webster@cancercare.org.uk or visit us online at www.cancercare.org.uk/getinvolved

How do I register?

Getting involved has never been simpler and it’s completely FREE! Here’s how to join:

Head over to our Facebook Group Summer Steps Challenge for CancerCare | Facebook and find the pinned post at the top of the page.

In just a few quick clicks, you can set up your Facebook fundraiser so family and friends can sponsor your challenge. Why not personalise your fundraising page and tell us why you’re taking part in Summer Steps for CancerCare?

Don’t do Facebook?

If you’d like to take part, but do not wish you use Facebook, you can register here and we’ll make sure you have everything you need to get started!

Why should I take part?

Every year CancerCare supports over 2000 people and families through cancer and loss, with over 90% of our work funded by amazing supporters like you!

The money you raise today helps us continue providing vital support and ensures our services are always free of charge, whenever our community need us most. With demand for our services higher than ever, this is your opportunity to make sure no one has to face cancer or loss alone.

As always, 100% of the donations raised go directly to CancerCare to support individuals dealing with cancer and bereavement across North Lancashire and South Cumbria.
