A brave businesswoman and long-term CancerCare supporter plunged 10,000 feet out of a plane to raise vital funds. Nicola Combe, Director of Morecambe Bay Wills and Estates, did a skydive over the Namibian Desert in South Africa on 19th December 2023 to fundraise for CancerCare.
Nicola set up Morecambe Bay Wills and Estates to help others who are dealing with family tragedy after her husband Jim died from cancer. Jim was supported by us during his diagnosis and Susan continued to benefit from our services during her time of grief.
Nicola’s skydive was postponed due to Covid, but when she finally got the chance to complete her jump, she raised over £2,500 (including Gift Aid). Over the years, Nicola and the team at Morecambe Bay Wills and Estates have been big supporters of CancerCare, raising over £21,000 in total.
Morecambe Bay Wills and Estates provides will writing services to families across Lancashire and North Cumbria.
The company donates five per cent of the proceeds for Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney to CancerCare as a thank you for the support provided to Nicola and Jim.
“Every penny counts and every penny helps others,” Nicola said.
