Following discussions with our guide John Murphy, we have decided to postpone today's Piel Island Walk (Sunday 26 June).

We are all desperately disappointed but after reviewing this afternoon's weather forecast, we felt it was the most sensible thing to do. We never take the decision to cancel an event, lightly, but felt that due to the unpredictable nature of the weather, and conditions out on the sands, we had to make the safety of participants and staff paramount

We have emailed all walkers to let them know and we will be sitting down with John to work out a rescheduled date for the walk very soon.
