Over the weekend Audra Mulholland’s nine grandchildren raised money from picking fresh juicy plums and apples from trees in her garden.
Willow, Isla-May, Poppy, Georgie, Bella, Ayda, Arlo, Marcus and Lewis worked together as a team, climbing trees, picking the fruit, packaging and selling the natural goodness for donations. They set up a stall outside their Nana’s house and created beautiful signs to catch the attention of locals. Over the two days they raised a fantastic £95 all in aid of CancerCare!
“My grandchildren decided to pick plums and apples to raise money for CancerCare. I said I would match what they raised and overall, we collected £95. We chose to raise money for CancerCare because my sister, their Great Aunty, had cancer and CancerCare not only helped her but they supported other family members. I’m a very proud Nana!” said Audra.
Well done team, fantastic work you should all be very proud of yourselves! Thank you for supporting CancerCare!
