Our fabulous volunteers aren’t just an invaluable addition to our workforce, they are often also our biggest advocates in the community.

On Sunday June 25 our Barrow-based volunteer, and all-round legend, John Thompson joined our Furness Fundraising and Engagement Officer Mai CancerCare at Civic Sunday in Ulverston, meeting Mayor Michelle Scrogham who named us, and Community Solutions, as her charities of the year so we are really looking forward to what the next 12 months will bring.
