Got green fingers? How do you fancy flexing them at our brand new allotment in Lancaster?!

This year we’ll be embarking on an exciting project to transform an overgrown patch into a productive plot for CancerCare.

The possibilities are endless.

Gardening is a healthy and relaxing pastime and we can use the allotment as a therapeutic space for our clients to ease their anxieties in the fresh air.

Our Re-Fresh Young People’s Support Group love the great outdoors and cooking, and we can combine the two by growing vegetables they can use in their dishes.

BUT, before we get to this point, we need to clear the ground and get it into a condition where we can begin to make use of it.

If you have a couple of hours to spare over the next few months and can assist us to prepare it ready for spring. it would be huge help!

Whatever you can do, whether its some heavy digging or some light weeding, would be a massive bonus and enable us to start using it to benefit our clients.
