Sunday 23rd April will be a BIG day for Carys Williams as she laces up her trainers and takes on the London Marathon!

In December 2021 Cary's' closest friend Yasmin was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 32. Yasmin was supported by CancerCare which helped her sustain her unwavering positive attitude through a very dark time.

As a way to say thank you and to celebrate her best friend being cancer free, Carys wants to run the London Marathon to raise funds! She has almost doubled her target of £500 which is incredible!!

We want to say a HUGE good luck to Carys and a massive thank you for choosing to support CancerCare! We will be thinking of you on race day
