Sadly, we have had to take the difficult decision to cancel the Santa Dash that was due to take place at Millom Community Track on Sunday 18th December at 11am.

As part of our risk assessment procedure, we reviewed the weather forecast and felt the combination of predicted strong winds and rain/sleet would make for treacherous conditions for an outdoor event.

We aim to make CancerCare events to enjoyable and, above all, safe so feel this is the most sensible course of action to take.

After the cancellation of our Kendal Santa Dash last week, for similar reasons, this is doubly disappointing for us. We had more than 120 runners at our first ever Millom Santa Dash last year and were really looking forward to seeing you all again.
