In March, 16 year old Jasmine Robson from Morecambe decided she wanted to donate proceeds from her small business Jazz’s Sweet Treats to CancerCare.

Jasmine has been accessing our Children’s and Young People’s Services at our centre in Morecambe since September 2022, after she found herself struggling with the multiple losses she had faced.

To show her gratitude to CancerCare, Jasmine committed to a month long fundraiser to say thank you to the charity that gave her the reassurance and guidance she needed to open up about her experiences.

Jasmine set herself a target of £200 and has smashed her target raising £480.66 selling hundreds of cakes and bakes at school sales and to friends and friends.

"I'm so proud of myself and everyone that helped me to raise over £480! I'm gobsmacked to have raised the amount I did and I can't thank everyone enough. There's no other charity that deserves it more in my opinion," said Jasmine.

This amount is the equivalent of paying for someone to have 16 sessions of complimentary therapy at CancerCare. Thank you for your support, Jasmine, it’s brilliant to see young people like yourself raising money for CancerCare!
