As part of our new website development project we were keen to further our use of digital technology to enhance the services we provide to our clients.

One of the ways we are doing this is to produce 3D virtual walkthroughs of our centres.

There are often a number of barriers that people are confronted by when they are affected by a cancer diagnosis or bereavement and need to seek extra support with their mental or physical well-being.

One of these barriers can be anxiety or nervousness about visiting one of our centres in Lancaster, Morecambe, Kendal or Barrow for the first time and not knowing what to expect.

3D virtual walkthroughs of a building can help allay these fears by giving a visual on-street location, an idea of the layout of the premises, and feel for the how the rooms look which could prove the difference to someone deciding to ask for help or not.

This fantastic 3D tour of our Morecambe Centre was produced by Furness 360 Media and huge thanks to Karl for coming out and using his technical expertise to provide a real benefit to us and the people who need us.
