Alison has been working for CancerCare since May 2010 and was appointed Chief Executive in October 2020.

Alison has an MSc. in Construction and Property Management and has extensive experience with the British Armed Forces where she had control of an estates budget in excess of £1m. She spent three years in Germany working for Estates Branch (Army) on a range of capital works projects and a stint as Property Manager at the Sea Mounting Centre in Marchwood, Southampton.
