Announcing the brass band who will provide the atmospheric accompaniment to Lights on the Lake!

Bay Brass Hooters are big supporters of CancerCare and last summer took part in our Cross Bay Walk to raise money for us after we supported one of their members when she was diagnosed with breast cancer.

When we contacted them to ask if they would provide the music as we float our candles of commemoration at Lights on the Lake, they enthusiastically offered to help once again, and even recruited an extra 10 players to make it happen.

Having the band play at Capernwray Lake on 30 April will make it extra special, not least because a number of the new members of the band are also former CancerCare clients.

We are really looking forward to a lovely celebration of remembrance and hearing the band play as the sun sets serenely over the surrounding hills will be truly memorable.
