Local business Morecambe Bay Wills and Estates were visited by our fundraising team to celebrate them hitting a huge fundraising total.

Over the past five years, Nicola Combe and her team at Morecambe Bay Wills and Estates have raised £21,510 for CancerCare.

Since 2019, the company have donated 5% of every invoice to CancerCare. Their support has meant CancerCare could be there for hundreds of people in our local community coping with the life-changing impact of cancer or bereavement.

Their donations have funded over 614 hours of one-to-one therapy support, such as hypnotherapy sessions to manage the fear and anxiety that can come with a diagnosis, therapeutic massage to ease the side-effects of cancer treatment, or counselling sessions to help someone through the pain of losing someone they love.

Nicola and her late husband, Jim, both benefited from our services. We opened our doors to Jim when he was diagnosed with cancer, and to Nicola when Jim sadly passed away.

Claire and Anna from our fundraising team presented Nicola and the team with a special certificate of thanks.
