On Friday Morecambe Golf Club raised an amazing £1,250 at their first coffee morning in aid of CancerCare!

The club has chosen CancerCare as their charity of the year and their first event in aid of us was a huge success! Members baked a selection of delicious homemade cakes and hot drinks were available for people to enjoy. In addition, the club put on a selection of stalls and a tombola which had an array of fabulous prizes in time for Easter.

“The coffee morning hosted by Morecambe Golf Club was fantastic and the turnout was excellent! It was a brilliant opportunity for me in my new role to meet our partners and credit them for the incredible work they do,” said Kat Michaels, Deputy Head of Fundraising.
