Lindsay joined our team in August after spending 14 years working in a hospital assisting with biopsy screenings. In 2019 Lindsay won the Cavell Nurses award for showing exceptional care to colleagues, patients and their families.

“So far, I’m thoroughly enjoying my role at CancerCare. I love the team I’m part of. I’ve felt so welcomed by the friendly people in the building from my first day. My previous role was very hands on with patients, so the change to helping people non-medically is giving me great satisfaction,” she said.

In her spare time Lyndsay likes to be outdoors: gardening, cycling and going on picnics. When the weather isn’t so great, Lindsay's sanctuary is her Victorian-style home which she loves to fill with the aromas of homecooked dishes.
