The wonderful ladies from the Lancaster Amateur Dramatic and Operatic Society will performing their production of Calendar Girls: The Musical at the Lancaster Grand Theatre in May!

As well as being a cracking night out, LADOS is using the show to help support us with bucket collections at each performance and at the Gala Performance (Wed 11 May) they'll be holding a raffle and a sale of specially crocheted sunflowers. They are also arranging cake sales at the rehearsals to raise funds for the us.

The true story of the Calendar Girls launched a global phenomenon, a million copycat calendars, a record breaking movie, stage play and musical written by Tim Firth and Gary Barlow which coined the term "craughing" - the act of crying and laughing at the same time.

With unforgettable songs, every performance continues to add to the millions already raised for charity and also prove that there is no such thing as an ordinary woman.
