Sadly, due to the cold weather, we have taken the difficult decision to cancel the Kendal Santa Dash which was due to take place at Kendal Leisure Centre on Sunday 11th December at 11am.

We did a full walk round of the route this afternoon and certain sections were very icy and slippy underfoot. With the freezing temperatures set to continue overnight, we could only see it getting worse, with wet/slushy patches re-freezing and becoming dangerous to walk on.

We are desperately disappointed and would like to apologize to everyone who bought a ticket.

However, the safety of all the runners and our staff and volunteers has to be our utmost consideration.

We are currently contacting ticket holders to let them know.

Once again, we are really sorry to have to cancel the event. It is always one of our favourite fundraisers of the year and we would like to thank you for both your support, and your understanding.
