On 9th May 2026, over 60 people took on the 2026 Keswick to Barrow and Coniston to Barrow walks in aid of CancerCare. We are so grateful to everyone who took on this epic local challenge for our charity; it was certainly a day to remember.

Each and every walker battled through and kept going when their legs were saying no. It was a truly inspirational sight, and everyone should be so proud of themselves.

We have loved seeing photographs from the day, as well as hearing stories and feedback. Some of our solo walkers made friends with others along the way, others shared their supplies and supported each other when it became all too emotional.

We have witnessed some incredible fundraising, too, and the total is still rising. We can't wait to reveal the final amount once we hear how much has been raised at the K2B awards ceremony in November - keep your eyes peeled!

The K2B and C2B are such special challenges, and an event of this scale requires an army of volunteers, locals and businesses. Without them, the day would not be able to run. A huge thank you to Morrisons and Asda Barrow for their donations of water and snacks—these were essential!
