Our Engagement Team has been out and about again this month spreading the word about all the good work we do to help people across the communities we serve.

Sarah and Simon paid a visit to Queen Elizabeth Studio School in Kirkby Lonsdale where they ran a session with health and social care pathway students talking about the services we offer and how we support people, and their families, who are living with cancer.

They covered topics such as the many reasons why some people might be reluctant to seek support and the ways we can break down these barriers to ensure they get the help they need.

Health and Social Care Pathway Lead Emily Nevinson said: “The students really enjoyed the session, and a sensitive subject was pitched to them in a really appropriate way.”
