Are you ready to jingle all the way around Lancaster for CancerCare’s Santa Dash on Sunday 29th November at 1.30pm in Market Square?

1 mile fun run

Join hundreds of festive Santas as they dash, jog, prance, and jingle their way around our fun, family-friendly route. Be in with a chance to win the opportunity to switch on Lancaster’s Christmas Lights on stage with Santa.

And because every Christmas adventure deserves a little treat, every participant will receive a Santa hat, medal and candy cane at the finish line!

5K run

Grab your trainers and jingle your way through our Festive 5K! Starting in the City Centre, you’ll head out along the beautiful traffic-free riverside path for a fun and festive 5K adventure.

Have a fabulous pre-Christmas workout while supporting a fantastic local cause. Every runner will receive a Santa hat and a medal at the finish line!

10K run

Ready to go a little further? Set yourself a goal to finish the year on a high with the Festive 10K. Full of festive cheer, and the feel-good factor of supporting a local charity.

Whether you’re a seasoned runner or taking on your first 10K, this is the perfect way to challenge yourself, and get into the Christmas spirit. Every runner will receive a Santa hat and a medal at the finish line!

Santa Dash ticket (child or adult) £9 including booking fee. The first 50 adults tickets sold for the 1 mile fun run will receive a free Santa Suit, entry to the 1 mile fun run, a medal and a candy cane!

Festive 5K - £17 including booking fee

Switch on Lancaster's Christmas Lights

The child who raises the most sponsorship for their Santa Dash this year will win an incredible opportunity to switch on the Lancaster Christmas Lights! They’ll take to the stage alongside Beyond Radio and Father Christmas to start the festive celebrations.
