A team of eight took on the CancerCare skydiving challenge on 4th April 2025 at Black Knights Skydiving Centre.
The group included CancerCare staff members Matt and Alison, as well as a team from FGH Security and charity supporter Megan.
Due to turbulent winds, the divers were unable to complete their jumps until the mid-afternoon despite being scheduled for a morning attempt. Once the the wind dropped, they all jumped from 15,000ft.
Lorna from FGH said: “Skydiving is an extraordinary experience and we are thrilled that Connor, Jayden, Matt and Jayden (from FGH) could tick this off their bucket lists whilst collectively raising money for an incredible cause like CancerCare.
"Giving something back is at the core of our organisational values, and we actively encourage our team to get involved in charitable initiatives.”
As a whole, the team have raised over £5,700 (including Gift Aid).
