VBA, a VolkerStevin, Boskalis Westminster and SNC-Lavalin’s Atkins joint venture, are the contractor working on behalf of the Environment Agency who are undertaking the Kendal Flood Risk Management Scheme.

Jordanna Robinson, Customer Experience Manager based at the Kendal site said “The VBA team are passionate about supporting the communities in which we work, and have chosen CancerCare as our partnership charity for the year. Cancer has had a personal impact on members of our workforce, and as a result we are passionate about supporting in any way we can”.

The team kicked off their fundraising activities with a Euro 2020 sweepstake and are planning many more activities over the next 12 months as well as taking part in CancerCare events.
