Job Title: Head of Fundraising 

Reporting to: Chief Executive 

Responsible for: The Fundraising Team, six staff members

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (flexible working to meet needs of the role)

Location: Office base Slynedales, Lancaster, with travel across the Morecambe Bay footprint

Salary: £35,000 (per annum)

The Head of Fundraising will be responsible for the fundraising planning process, staff management and income generation via new and existing channels, media and resources. 

The primary role will be to lead a team of fundraisers to increase overall fundraising income and therefore support CancerCare to reach out to and provide increased support to local people and their families living with cancer.

The post-holder will possess excellent interpersonal & organisational skills with the ability to build rapport and strong working relationships with staff and volunteers at all levels.

Candidates must be IT literate and proficient in using all Microsoft Office programmes with experience of working in an administrative/office based environment, ideally within the voluntary sector.
