Trustee Recruitment

Clinical Nurse Specialist or Palliative Care Nurse Trustee

Location: n/a

Trustees have a crucial role at CancerCare. They use their expertise and vast experience to help steer the charity and make the important decisions needed to secure its future. All our trustees give their time on a voluntary basis, but all say the unique sense of reward and satisfaction they get from doing so more than compensates.

Next year we will begin preparations for our 40th anniversary in 2023, and we will be using this major milestone in our history as a springboard for ambitious plans to build on our past successes and launch new long-term initiatives to enable us to reach even more people across the region in need of the help we provide.

To help us make this happen we are recruiting three new trustees with the skills, vision and inspiration to help us drive forward into the next 40 years.

This role will offer guidance and advice to the other members of the Board, providing a practical perspective on how our services can support people affected by cancer across the Morecambe Bay footprint.
