Taster sessions prove popular with Barrow residents

When people have to face cancer it can be a lonely time and CancerCare wants to do something about this. CancerCare in Barrow, Ulverston and the Furness Peninsula is through to the final of the People’s Projects National Lottery competition and, with enough votes from the community, could win £32,000 to set up activity and creative support groups for local people.
